AI Engineer to build Periskope’s AI-native product and engineering harness. This is a hands-on IC role for a software engineer who is strong with cloud, modern AI tooling, and shipping AI-powered products.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in software engineering

Currently working at a product-based startup or scale-up

Strong software engineering fundamentals with an AI-native mindset

Proven experience building and shipping products/features on top of AI/LLMs

Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud-native development

Comfortable building production systems end-to-end with high ownership

Experience with LLM APIs, agents, RAG, tool calling, MCP, or similar AI application patterns

Strong coding skills in one or more modern programming languages

Ability to work as a hands-on individual contributor in a small engineering team

Strong proof of work: shipped AI projects, GitHub repositories, products, demos, or other...
