What we sell
Adverts on a job board. An advert is shown on remotejobs.co.za for the number of days bought, from 1 to 90. It is a digital service and nothing is posted or delivered in a physical form. The advert goes live once the payment is confirmed and the advert passes our automatic checks.
Price and payment
The price per day and the total, including any tax and fees, are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record, by the methods it shows at checkout. Card details go to Lemon Squeezy and never reach us.
Your record of the order
Lemon Squeezy emails a receipt. Order records are kept for 5 years. Write to hello@remotejobs.co.za if you need a copy.
Terms, refunds and returns
The advertiser terms set out the rules and the cases where we refund an order. There is nothing to return because the service is digital.
Cooling-off
The Act gives a consumer 7 days to cancel a distance sale of services, but the right does not apply to services that start with your agreement before those days end. Adverts start as soon as the order is applied, so that exception is likely to apply. This does not remove any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or another law. If you have a concern about an order, write to us first.
Privacy
See the privacy notice for how we handle contact details, payment-related records and other personal information, and the cookies page.
Complaints
Write to hello@remotejobs.co.za. For personal information, write to privacy@remotejobs.co.za or complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa), https://inforegulator.org.za. Any alternative dispute resolution code we subscribe to is listed above under Code of conduct.
