Smartland Energy is looking for a strong communicator who can take complicated information and make it clear and easy to understand.

This could be a great fit for someone with experience in journalism, public relations, communications, or a similar field.

You’ll help Smartland Energy communicate with the communities where we work. Our projects include data centers and energy infrastructure, and local residents may have questions about things like water, electricity, land use, construction, and how a project could affect their community.

Your job is to help us answer those questions clearly, accurately, and respectfully.

What you'll do

Write FAQs, emails, website updates, social media posts, fact sheets, and other community materials

Research topics and work with our team to make sure information is accurate

Help respond to questions and concerns from local residents

Turn technical information into language that is easy for the public to understand

Help prepare communications for community meetings and public outreach

Coordinate announcements across email, social media, websites, and print

Keep our messaging clear and consistent
