Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Customer Service Agent for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will own customer queries from first contact to resolution.

Role overview

You will be the friendly voice of a UK business, helping customers by email, chat and phone and solving problems the first time. This is a full-time, 100% remote role for South African talent, working UK hours: 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST).

Key responsibilities

Answer customer queries by email, chat and phone

Log and track cases in the helpdesk system

Resolve issues or escalate with clear notes

Process orders, returns and account changes

Share feedback that helps improve the service

What you'll need

Experience in customer service or support

Clear, friendly written and spoken English

Experience with a helpdesk tool such as Zendesk or Freshdesk

Calm approach when handling complaints

Able to work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST)

Nice to have

Experience with live chat tools

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify

Previous work with UK customers
