Fundraising Coordinator

Position Objectives:

To coordinate all fundraising efforts for PETA, with a focus on major gifts and fundraising events

To manage all donor relationships, including overseeing correspondence with our donors

To update PETA U.K. and PETA U.S. staff on our program and fundraising efforts

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Coordinate and help implement PETA’s fundraising strategies through direct response fundraising, special events, and donor cultivation

Identify and research appropriate “cases for giving” for targeted donors

Identify prospective major donors beyond our current donor base and assist with cultivation and solicitation strategies for these prospects

Maintain regular contact with specific groups of donors and act as a professional contact for them

Document pertinent information for the purpose of enhancing and developing donor profiles and ensure that all donor activity is up to date in our database

Collect and analyze pertinent data concerning PETA’s fundraising efforts and regularly report the results to the vice president of international fundraising as well as to PETA U.K. and PETA U.S. Coordinate and attend cultivation, retention, and solicitation events...
