The SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Functional Lead Analyst provides functional leadership for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of SAP MDG processes and solutions. This role leads business requirements, functional design, governance alignment, testing, and stakeholder decision-making across master data domains. The MDG Functional Lead translates business needs into scalable SAP MDG solutions while guiding the technical teams responsible for configuration, integrations, and development. This is a functional leadership role, not a primary ABAP development position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the SAP MDG functional lead and subject matter expert for assigned master data domains. Lead discovery, requirements, process design, and functional solution workshops with business and IT stakeholders. Translate business and governance requirements into functional specifications, process designs, and acceptance criteria. Own functional solution decisions and recommend scalable, supportable SAP MDG approaches that balance business value, user experience, and complexity.
